It’s right around the corner, ladies and gentlemen.  That’s right, Microsoft is releasing Windows 8 and everybody is buzzing about it.  We have tons of devices to talk about this fall that feature the new operating system, including phones, desktops, laptops, Ultrabooks, and tablets.  One company looking to really make a mark this fall is Lenovo, and they just might do it with their new IdeaPad Yoga 13.

Innovating functionality
The Yoga will be a stand-out in stores this fall due to its slick and innovative design.  Not only does the Yoga show a sleek Ultrabook design great for traditional laptop activity, it also amazes with a beautiful 13-inch display that can contort itself nearly 360 degrees backwards behind the keyboard, transforming into a giant-sized tablet. The Yoga pleases the user with its simplicity.  No longer do you have to turn the display this way or that. You can simply fold it backwards and enjoy your tablet.  This simple function breathes new life into the Ultrabook concept.

The idea behind the contorting display is driven by function.  If you choose to use the Yoga in a more traditional fashion, like a laptop, you will find the slim style very pleasing. The Yoga measures about 17mm thick and includes a keyboard and touchpad.  For other activities like watching movies, Skyping, reading, playing games, or just surfing the internet, the Yoga’s flexible display will definitely come in handy.

Under the hood
Beyond its sleek design and innovative display, the Lenovo Yoga 13 isn’t kidding around when it comes to power.  The device can house up to a Core i7 processor while maintaining a phenomenal 8-hour battery life.  With this kind of power, more than just basic computing becomes possible anywhere.  Now we have the power to play games, listen to music, or watch HD movies. The Yoga also houses two USB 3 ports and an HDMI output.

Lenovo is making powerful computing very portable with the Yoga, making this device a very attractive choice for those who can’t decide between a laptop or a tablet.  Why not have both?  The Lenovo Yoga 13 promises to impress this year, and hey, did I mention it also comes in a very eye-catching shade of orange?  If you like powerful portable computing, tablets, Ultrabooks, or the color orange, be sure to check out the Lenovo Yoga.
